Christmas Gifts – It’s Not Too Late To Give Some Green

If you pay a visit to our web site, one of the first things you may notice are the red banners popping up everywhere – Out of stock! is their announcement. However, it’s still not too late to give a green Christmas gift this year. We still have a number of Christmas wreaths left and a few Norway Spruce potted Christmas trees.

The Christmas trees are the gift that will keep growing and bring continued pleasure. Our Christmas wreaths would certainly make a different gift. Younger family members often don’t think about traditional decorations like live Christmas wreaths. They make a perfect Christmas gift when visiting your children or grandchildren.

Potted trees on the other hand are great to give to parents or grandparents. If they live alone, they often don’t bother fussing with a Christmas tree. A small tree in a pot could be the perfect Christmas gift. Once Christmas has been and gone, take the tree outside and it will continue to live through till next Christmas.

Whatever you do, don’t decide when it’s too late and the only thing you can find is an out of stock banner. We can still arrange for delivery any time between now and the 22nd. Giving someone a green Christmas gift is always special, especially if it’s something traditional like a tree or a wreath.

With Christmas tree orders steadily flowing in and Christmas trees steadily flowing out, it is timely to remind everyone that we can only deliver up to the 22nd December. In reality, you have three short weeks left in which to place your orders – if you’re on the mainland. For everyone else, you have less than three weeks.

We can arrange express next day delivery to mainland UK if orders are placed before lunchtime. Express to the Highlands & Northern Ireland will take from one to three days whilst express to Scottish, Channel Islands and Isle of Man will take three to five days. Check our Christmas tree delivery pages for more information.

Christmas tree delivery of course is the quick and convenient way to have your Christmas tree delivered. There is no mess in your car and you don’t have to compromise on size because of transport limitations. I have actually seen one gentleman trying to wrestle a Christmas tree home on a bus – I am surprised they let him on in the first place – he would have found it much more convenient having it delivered.

November is almost finished -tomorrow marks the official start of winter and with it the countdown to Christmas. I am noticing Christmas trees starting to pop up everywhere. If you require a Christmas tree for your business – it’s not too late to order. Check our catalogue range then give us a call.

It’s Time To Take Delivery Of Your Christmas Tree

Our Christmas trees are now steadily flowing out of our doors and many of our customers are now taking delivery of their tree. If you order now we can have a fresh cut Christmas tree on your doorstep before the weekend.

If you are about to take delivery of your Christmas tree then you need to think about how and when you are going to decorate it. Many families leave the decorating until the weekend. If you are considering the same then we suggest you leave your Christmas tree outside the house. Keep it protected from the elements, but also ensure it is in a cool place.

You can keep the netting on for several days without damaging the tree. In fact, it will be easier to take inside if you do. Before taking you tree inside, cut off an inch or so from the base. Once you do get your Christmas tree inside, give it a good home, somewhere cool away from direct heat and strong drafts. Make sure it is in a stable stand and that your tree has plenty of water.

Take the netting off once your tree is in place and your tree is ready to decorate. If you don’t have a Christmas tree yet then please be quick to order. We are already running low on several of tree sizes. Don’t leave it too late, you may be disappointed.
