Scottish Christmas Trees are delighted to announce that they scooped runner up in the category ‘Best Other Fir’ at the 2017 British Christmas Tree Growers Association annual tree competition this month.
In 2016, Scottish Christmas Trees won the Best Container Grown tree, and in this, the 19th year of the competition, we decided to enter a 7 foot cut Fraser Fir. All entries to each of the competition categories are assessed for foliage, colour and shape by fellow growers. We were delighted with the result and this year our hard working team who nurture our trees all year round took time out from harvest preparation to travel to West Yorkshire, joining Rory at the event.
We show here our team proudly handing over the Fraser Fir before transportation to the event
and Rory accepting the award!
