Christmas Tree Harvest 2019

And so the Christmas Tree Harvest begins for 2019.

After a very wet few weeks, yesterday saw us finally managing to complete the task of measuring and counting our lovely Christmas Trees. Our Fraser Fir, Nordman Fir and Norway Spruce Christmas Trees have been growing steadily all year. As can be seen from our photo, we all went to bed leaving a fabulous sunset on our heels. Even better, we got up this morning to beautiful blue skies!

Enjoying the autumn sun and despite the first frost on windscreens the unanimous decision was to celebrate a wonderful day by opening the Scottish Christmas Trees website. Our Christmas Tree stock has just been uploaded this afternoon, 3rd October and we look forward to another busy harvest season ahead.

Over this year we have had some exciting new additions to our team, but more of that later – lets just say there’s been more hinder than help at times!

Meanwhile……. we now have some baby Christmas Trees to plant. And dont worry, we wont be cutting any real trees for a few weeks yet. Remember, we deliver them as fresh as possible. Watch this space for news from the farm and to see what has been happening since last year!! While you wait, make sure you get your order in early for your ‘Real Tree’ for 2019!!! Our wreath designs aren’t quite ready yet. But our cut and pot grown trees are all available to pre-order with your chosen delivery date.
