Scottish Christmas trees does it again!
Winner of the BCGTA – Best Living Container Grown Christmas Tree 2016
Rory from Scottish Christmas Trees recently travelled to the British Christmas Tree Growers Association annual tree competition held at Gower Fresh Christmas Tree Farm in South Wales with a 4ft container grown Norway Spruce. The event was attended by over 200 growers from all over the UK and Europe. Any UK grown Christmas Tree can be entered into the various categories with the grower of the overall champion tree being given the honour of supplying the tree that stands outside No 10 Downing Street.
The container grown Norway Spruce produced by Scottish Christmas Trees was named ‘Best Living Container Grown Tree in the UK for 2016’ with the award being presented to Rory by the Secretary of State for Wales Alun Cairns.
All the staff at Scottish Christmas Trees work tirelessly all year round to produce a quality product in a sustainable, environmentally-friendly fashion. Despite the onset of their extremely busy harvest period the four Full Time members of staff took time out to celebrate their significant achievement
Winner of the BCGTA – Best ‘Pot Grown’ Christmas Tree 2009
Scottish Christmas Trees entered the 2009 British Christmas Tree Growers Association (BCGTA) competition and are delighted to announce that we have won the best ‘pot grown’ christmas tree category with one of our quality living Norway Spruce Christmas trees.
Every Christmas tree grown here at Glaisters Farm and supplied throughout the Festive season gets the same treatment as our award winning tree. Whether it is a 90cm pot grown Fraser Fir or a 300cm cut Nordman Fir every single tree goes through the same rigorous quality control process before it is despatched from the farm ready for delivery fresh to your doorstep.
The award winning Norway Spruce can be seen in the photo on the right and below is photo of Rory Young accepting the award for the best pot grown christmas tree.
